We provides design and consultation services for living roofs on residential and commercial projects. We offer ideas and input as well as full design services at any level of the design process, the schematic, conceptual, developed design and in producing construction documents. We advise and deliver based on the scope of work determined by the client.
Our designs work with a innovative approach to growing on a roof. Our rooftop and modular systems can be employed on roofs, boxes or stand alone planters. We love working with architects and other design teams to deliver the specific needs of a living roof and highly productive farm.
We are California Licensed c-27 contractor and have a efficient team that can install our systems at many different scales. From large commercial installations to small planter beds our system and techniques work. We install systems after the roof membrane is verified by a licensed roofing professional as watertight. We provide installation services as well as management services for a project and administer the timeline of completion and cost. We work on projects between 250 and 50,000 square feet.
On average a complete install of our rooftop farming system costs between $20-$30 per square foot, with cost being inversely proportional to scale.

"Fresh Sheets" in our FarmLog!
Once a system is built it begins to grow. A green roof is a living one and needs to be maintained. We can offer full management and operational oversight of the systems we build so that they are economically viable. Our living roofs are beautiful and kept lush all year round with minimum water use. Our farms create local jobs and provide ultra fresh produce that is delivered to the end user within 6-9 hours of the day it was harvested. We believe in fossil fuel free food and only serving chefs and residents within a 3 mile radius of the project. Our farms also provides nursery starts and locally adapted seeds to the urban gardener.
A skilled farm manager oversees each operation and has an additional crew member with every 10,000 square feet of production space. The income generated by the farm provides adequate financial resources for the farm to operate and be an independent business with a long-term lease of the site.
